Maria Paola Tintis
Artist
Maria Paola Tintis is a live wedding painter, working in watercolour at weddings across Italy and Europe.
Maria paints guests as the celebration happens, turning each one into a small portrait they take home, and her brushwork is loose and quick enough to keep pace with a room in full swing. She also paints larger live wedding scenes, now available on canvas as well as paper, and takes studio commissions from photographs for couples who'd rather have the artwork afterwards.
What we love about Maria is how naturally the live sketching pulls guests together during the quieter stretch between courses, and how personal the keepsakes end up being.
Good to know: the in-studio option from photographs is a good route if the wedding day itself is already tightly scheduled.
