Caridad - The Art of Event Painting
Artist
Caridad is a fine artist who paints live at weddings, working across Italy and worldwide in watercolour and ink.
Her guest portraits are elegant and a little playful, painted during the celebration itself, so they work as entertainment and as something for guests to take home from an Italian wedding. Caridad also takes commissions for large-scale oil paintings on heavy linen canvas, up to two metres square, developed over several months in her studio afterwards. These are museum quality artworks, made to hang in a home for decades.
We love her for couples who want something at the reception that guests gather round, and for anyone drawn to the idea of a painting of their wedding on the wall for years afterwards.
Good to know: the oil commissions are painted after the wedding, so they add nothing to the schedule on the day itself.
