Yidaki Studio is Christian and Aurora, a husband and wife photography and film team based on Lake Como.
They shoot stills and video together as one team, with a cinematic colour palette and a focus on emotion rather than set pieces. Eight years in, they've settled into a relaxed, easy manner on the day, which is what gets couples who dislike cameras to forget about them. They work mainly around Lake Como, Tuscany, Venice, Rome and the Dolomites, and shoot film and Super 8 alongside digital.
We love them for couples marrying on Lake Como or in the Dolomites who want photo and film handled by two people who've worked together for years.
Good to know: because Christian and Aurora cover both photo and film themselves, the two sets of coverage share the same look and aesthetic.
