Sarah Joy Landon is a wedding photographer born in the UK and raised between Milan and Rome, now splitting her time between Yorkshire and Italy for the wedding season.
She studied journalism before photography, and it shows in how she approaches a wedding: she's after the narrative and the human connections, getting to know people and their stories rather than working through a shot list. Sarah shoots predominantly on 35mm and 120 film with true-to-colour editing, so the images look like the day rather than a filter of it. She works with couples who value presence over posing.
We love her for well-travelled couples who love film photography and want just enough portraiture, without missing their own wedding.
Good to know: Sarah still has family in Italy, so she's on the ground there through the season.
