Francesco Mencucci is a floral and event designer based in Italy's Marche region, working across Marche, Umbria, Lake Garda, Tuscany and throughout Italy, Europe and the UAE.

Thirty years of craft sit behind a deliberately minimalist approach, and his process starts with the space rather than the brief. Instead of treating a venue as a blank canvas, he reads it as a living environment defined by its architecture, light and rhythm, and lets that shape the layout and the atmosphere. Floral design here is structural rather than decorative, which is a genuinely different way of working.

We love him for couples marrying somewhere architecturally striking who want the flowers to answer the building.

Good to know: through his Design Lab, Francesco develops the whole event design, not only the florals.
