Illustration by Kiwi is the studio of Francesca Michelini, known as Frankie, an Italian-born, UK-based artist creating award-winning live watercolour illustration at weddings in Italy and worldwide.
Frankie sets up at the wedding and paints couples and guests in real time, picking up on the small details, outfits and personalities in the room. Each finished portrait is handed over on the day, so guests leave with an original piece of art from the celebration. The work is playful and warm, and Frankie is relaxed and easy to have around, whether it's an intimate dinner or a large party.
