Italian Wedding Celebrants are a team of twelve professional wedding celebrants and officiants who have been creating personal ceremonies for international couples all over Italy since 2009, from intimate elopements to large destination weddings in villas, castles and gardens. They lead ceremonies in English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and can blend two languages so both families feel part of every moment.

They offer symbolic, humanist, spiritual, interfaith, religious and LGBTQ+ ceremonies, vow renewals and, when delegated by the town hall, civil ceremonies. Each one is written together with the couple after a free video call, around their story, values and cultures, and can include rituals such as handfasting, a sand ceremony or a wine box. One dedicated celebrant follows the couple from the first call to the last word on the day.

We love them for couples who want a ceremony that feels warm, personal and beautifully led, especially when they are bringing different languages, cultures or traditions together.

Good to know: three members of the team have been ordained ministers since 2010. They work alongside wedding planners and venues across Italy, and through trusted partners can also arrange certified translations, interpreters and help with the civil paperwork.
