Agriturismo La Dogana is a beautiful family run historical estate on the border of Tuscany and Umbria, set amongst 4,000 olive trees with stunning views of Lake Trasimeno. Minutes from the popular buzzing towns of Passignano, Cortona and Tuoro sul Trasimeno, and with vineyards to visit, boat trips to islands and direct trains to Florence and Rome, there are plenty of activities for your guests to do.
Agriturismo La Dogana can cater for weddings up to 90 guests and can sleep up to 62 people. The estate of La Dogana is large and therefore they have created different spaces to have your welcome night party, stunning outdoor ceremony, aperitivo and wedding dinner, meaning that each element of your wedding has a different vibe and wow factor for you and your guests.
The large pool overlooks the Trasimeno Lake and its islands. The pool has a big area with sunbeds and is surrounded by a Tuscan style garden together with a small secret garden that leads to the ceremony terrace. Couples who choose to have a symbolic ceremony on the terrace can have the aperitivo in the garden beside the pool.
You can also have a civil ceremony only 15 minute drive from La Dogana at La Rocca, an ancient fort ruin at the top of the old lakeside town of Passignano sul Trasimeno. The venue can take care of buses to take your guests to and from La Dogana. You can have an outdoor ceremony performed by the Lord Mayor on the terrace overlooking the lake. Enjoy a prosecco toast with your guests before having photos as you stroll back down through the old Italian town and by the lake front.
