Joab Smith is a wedding photographer with more than a decade and over 400 weddings behind him, shooting across Italy and worldwide.
His style blends editorial and documentary, and what draws him in is people: the emotions, the connections, the unscripted moments that make one wedding different from another. He's happy to give gentle direction where it helps and equally happy to step back, which suits couples who aren't yet sure how much guidance they want.
We love him for couples who want an experienced photographer with a light touch, and who care more about how the day felt than how it was arranged.
Good to know: Joab also runs The Dadcam, sending couples two 90s camcorders so the wedding party can film their own footage through the day, which Joab then edits into a finished film.
