Simona Tortolano is a Florence-based wedding photographer and Super 8 filmmaker, working across Italy, Europe and Morocco.
Her background spans fashion, painting and documentary cinema, and all three feed her work: a painter's sense of light, a fashion eye for styling, and a documentary instinct for what is actually happening. Simona takes a limited number of couples each year, so she can get to know each of them before the wedding. She shoots film photography alongside digital.
We love her for couples drawn to vintage texture and honest storytelling, who want a photographer with a genuine artistic sensibility.
Good to know: Simona also covers videography, so photography and video can come from the same person.
