Soma Filmes is Alika and Rodrigo, a videography duo who have spent more than twenty years together in life and in work.

Their backgrounds are in advertising, music and journalism, and the division of labour is clear: Alika brings the eye for composition and colour, Rodrigo brings a musician's sense of rhythm to the edit, which is why their films feel paced rather than assembled. Two decades together means they work almost wordlessly on the day. They've been returning for an Italian season since 2019 and have become properly attached to the country.

We love them for couples who want a film with genuine rhythm and feeling, made by two people entirely in step.

Good to know: drone, Super 8 and handycam footage are all available alongside the main coverage.
