Spatz Film is the work of Tim, a wedding filmmaker who shoots Super 8 and 16mm film alongside digital, travelling to Italy and worldwide.

Tim came to weddings the long way round, through skate videos, music videos and documentaries, before filming his sister's wedding in 2012 and seeing what it meant to her. He works with minimal kit so he can stay low-key, and his films are built from what actually happened, with no posing and no staged set-ups. The film stock gives the finished piece a grain and warmth that digital alone doesn't.

We love him for couples who want a wedding film with a documentary feel and real texture to it, particularly those drawn to Super 8 and 16mm.

Good to know: drone coverage is available too, so wide shots of the setting can sit alongside the film work.
