Love Story
“We met on Hinge! We immediately clicked. The first thing we bonded over is Penn State, where we both went to college. After 6 months of dating, the pandemic hit, and we found ourselves traveling the East coast together for a year or so.”
“Chris proposed on a beautiful October day on a beach walk by our home. He got on one knee, opened the ring box upside down and asked me to marry him. It was lovely and perfect! After that, we had celebratory drinks with my aunt and uncle in Sag Harbor, then the two of us went to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner.”

The Planning
“We wanted a guest-centric wedding, as our family really is the most important thing to us - that plus travel!
We wanted to create an experience that showed our guests true Tuscany, absolutely exceptional food and made them feel fully cared for all looked after all the way through. We wanted them to laugh and have fun with us.
For the wedding itself, the core brief was atmosphere and music. With a theatre background, music is very important to me and we spent a lot of time working with Lucy, our planner, carefully crafting which musicians would suit each moment of the day.
Before the wedding, I was most looking forward to walking down the aisle in my dress and Chris seeing me. The music, the fireworks, the dancing. We couldn’t wait to have fun!” ~ Chris
Why Italy?
“We wanted to give our guests an experience they'd never forget. It was like going on a vacation with our closest friends and family. And where is more romantic than Italy?!” ~ Chris

“Il Falconiere was the complete package for us. It has authentic Tuscan charm, luxurious accommodations, delicious food and beautiful views. We knew immediately that this was where we wanted to get married.”
The Style
“We really leaned into the romance of Tuscany and the elegance of the venue. Lucy, our planner and stylist, was inspired by the colours of the venue, the sunset and creating a feeling of romance and light to counter the heavier July heat.
The tablescape was stunning. Lucy found the perfect balance between organic floral arrangements and hints of glamour. And the colors perfectly matched the sunset during dinner!” ~ Miranda

“Our ceremony was the best part of the wedding. I still get weepy thinking about it. And then there was Maurizio the tenor, our extraordinarily talented tenor, who serenaded our guests during dinner. Jaws were on the floor! I wish I could bottle that feeling.”~ Miranda

“Our rehearsal dinner took place early evening the day before the wedding. It was such a perfect setting and dinner. That night we couldn’t imagine how things could get any better.”

“Make the wedding as personal as possible and always keep the guest experience in mind.
One of the most impactful moments of our wedding weekend was having guests arrive at their seats for the rehearsal dinner to find a handwritten love note waiting for them. It was such a meaningful way to set the tone for the rest of the weekend.
