FAQs

FLORISTS IN ITALY

When should we book our wedding florist?

We recommend booking your florist 9–18 months before your wedding date, particularly for peak season weddings. This allows plenty of time to develop your floral design and connect with your chosen florist.

Do you offer bespoke floral designs?

Yes. Every wedding is unique, and we create bespoke floral concepts tailored to your style, colour palette, venue, and vision.

How will my florists work best with my wedding planner or venue?

Planners, venues and florists all work cohesively to ensure a seamless design and installation process. Depending on the type of service you have booked, a planner might lead communications with your florist presenting back to you their proposal and ensuring the venue has full sight of what is planned.

Do the trusted florists on The Directory provide floral design consultations?

Yes. Many begin with a consultation to discuss your ideas, inspirations, budget and requirements before creating a personalised proposal. If you are working with a planner, this step might go through or involve them as well.

What floral arrangements do your recommended florists provide?

All aspects of wedding floristry, including bridal bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony flowers, table centrepieces, floral arches, aisle arrangements, hanging installations are all considered and provided by our experts.

Can they source specific flowers?

Florists will always do their best to source requested flowers. However, availability depends on seasonality, weather conditions and market supply. Where necessary, alternatives that achieve a similar look and feel will be suggested.

Do the florists work with a minimum spend?

Many weddings require a minimum floral investment due to the design, sourcing and installation involved. Please enquire directly for their current minimum spend requirements.

Do you offer sustainable floristry?

Most florists we recommend prioritise seasonal flowers, reusable mechanics and environmentally conscious practices wherever possible.

Is delivery, setup and breakdown included in the cost?

A florist will provide a clear breakdown of their quote, which should highlight what is included and what might be additional. Should a display need moving later in the day, which means the team has to stay longer than their budgeted hours, an additional charge might be proposed.

Can flowers be repurposed throughout the day?

Absolutely in theory, but you must check with the florist you have booked. Sometimes it is not as simple as lifting and moving to a new location. But where possible, it does mean those flowers remain a focal point for longer and you might see a cost saving. Additional charges might be proposed for this work.

Do florists charge travel on top of their service?

Yes, some might. A clear budget breakdown is so important so you don’t get caught out by any missed charges. Always ask the question if it includes travel.

Can we see a floral mock-ups or mood board?

Depending on the scope of the project and the florist you have chosen to work with, you will see a version of a mood board or even an AI image of what your wedding floristry will look like.
