La Lista’s Code of Ethics

When becoming a member of The Directory, suppliers and venues agree to La Lista’s Code of Ethics:

  • I/we treat all customers equally. My/our business is free from discrimination and encourages diversity, equality and inclusivity.

  • I/we am antiracist.

  • I/we respond to all communications with kindness and clarity.

  • I/we respond to enquiries within 48 hours.

  • I/we respect client confidentiality and follow data management rules (to my country’s regulations). I only share client information with permission and as required.

  • I/we disclose to clients any suppliers/relationships that I/we have a vested interest in.

  • If I/we add commission to quotes from suppliers, I/we inform my/our clients as part of my/our booking process and anytime they ask for information on this, I/we am/are always honest.

  • I/we have a contract with all my clients.

  • I/we will not break terms of contracts with clients.

  • My/our Public Liability insurance is up to date.

  • I/we always do the best job I/we possibly can.

  • I/we request permission to use photographer’s photos from the photographer and the client.

  • I/we fully credit photographers work when I share it online.

  • I/we never claim other’s work as my/our own.

  • If I/we are unable to deliver our agreed service or send a suitable replacement, we refund any payments that have been made in full. If a partial service has been delivered (ie. wedding planning) we refund the unfulfilled amount.

  • If I/we knowingly break The Code of Ethics I/we will inform the La Lista team within 48 hours

La Lista holds all members accountable to The Code of Ethics. If the team are notified that these may have been broken by a member the Complaints Protocol will be followed.

The removal of La Lista members is at the team’s full discretion.

La Lista is not responsible for the actions or performance of members of The Directory.
