Saxophonia is Mauro Donini, a saxophonist playing weddings and private events across northern Italy and beyond.

The instrument itself has a story: a saxophone carried to Sicily during the Second World War, now more than eighty years old and still in use, which gives his playing a one-of-a-kind character. Mauro draws on American jazz alongside a versatile contemporary style, moving between familiar melodies and improvised passages, and he tailors each set to the room. He's discreet and adaptable, covering everything from an elegant aperitivo to the evening celebration.
