Simon Palmer is a Scotland-based wedding photographer with a decade-long love for 35mm film photography, shooting across Italy, the UK and Europe.

His approach is immersive and unobtrusive, capturing not just people but the atmosphere. With a career as an interior designer behind him, Simon’s work pays quiet homage to the spaces couples choose to celebrate in, photographing both context and connection to craft a visual narrative rooted in place and feeling. He prioritises 35mm film for its poetic rendering of fleeting moments and its sense of nostalgia and honesty, working in a blend of documentary and editorial styles to create images that are timeless and honest.

We love Simon for couples who want photographs that feel like art and memory in equal measure.

Good to know: Simon also shoots Super 8, for a short moving keepsake alongside the photography.
