Monti and Mason

Martina and Jack are a married team based in Rome. They both studied film and Martina also has a background in fashion photography. They first met in Cape Town in 2013, a few years after Martina moved from Italy to South Africa, and in 2018 they tied the knot.

Being a married couple, they understand how important that special day is to everyone, and they want to make those memories last a lifetime for others.

Working closely with each couple is something that is very important to them. A wedding is something that is incredibly personal, and they want to make sure that every wedding expresses that unique personality. They believe that capturing candid and honest moments is the key to making beautiful images that have a lasting impact. They put a big emphasis on a documentary approach to their story telling, and tend to direct and style things only as much as each couple is comfortable with.

Both of them are drawn towards analogue, because of film's ability to render naturalistic, cinematic imagery that feels timeless. Because this aligns with their creative style and vision, they are strong advocates for shooting on 35mm for photography, and Super 8 and Super 16 for their wedding films.

They started shooting weddings together when they were living in South Africa, then in 2023 they decided to move to Italy. So far, they have shot weddings in Tuscany, Ibiza, Cape Town, Como, Switzerland and they are always open to traveling to new destinations.
