Mauro Donini is the musician behind Saxophonia, a live saxophone project shaped by a remarkable musical legacy. At its heart is a historic instrument carried to Sicily during the Second World War, a saxophone now over 80 years old that continues to bring character and atmosphere to weddings and private events across Italy.

Drawing on the timeless influence of American jazz alongside a versatile, contemporary style, Mauro creates performances that feel intimate, expressive and naturally engaging.
