Sarah Joy Landon
Sarah was born in the UK and was raised between Milan and Rome by a multicultural family. After graduating in journalism and working in marketing and social media, she decided to pursue her photography passion. Her approach is heavily influenced by years of documenting her travels around the globe. She photographed her first wedding in 2017 and fell in love with the narrative opportunities that weddings provide, as well as the human connections: getting to know people and their stories.
Sarah’s clients are typically avid travellers and love film photography and a true-to-colour editing style: she predominantly shoots on 35mm and 120 film.
Sarah works with couples from all backgrounds who value presence over posing, and who want just the right amount of portraiture and playful moments — without missing out on being fully present on their wedding day.
Sarah now lives in Yorkshire, UK with her partner Matt and her cat Charlie. With family still in Italy, she splits her time between her two homes for wedding season. Her knowledge and love of Italy is a great asset to her clients navigating destination wedding planning.
