Castello Alidosi is a historic castle wedding venue set in the hills above Castel del Rio, on the border between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna. Rising from the remains of a medieval fortress, the estate combines dramatic stone architecture with open terraces and gardens overlooking the surrounding countryside.
The layout of the property lends itself well to destination weddings that unfold across several spaces. Ancient walls frame landscaped gardens and panoramic terraces, providing natural settings for ceremonies, aperitifs and outdoor dinners, while the castle interiors offer atmospheric rooms for receptions and evening celebrations.
Castello Alidosi can host weddings for up to 100 guests, with 10 bedrooms available on site sleeping 20 guests, allowing close family and friends to stay within the estate. Additional accommodation can be found in nearby villages if required.
Located approximately 1 hour from Bologna Airport and 1.5 hours from Florence Airport, the castle offers a secluded setting while remaining accessible for international guests planning a destination wedding in northern Italy.
