Castello di San Fabiano
Castello di San Fabiano is a historic Tuscan wedding venue set in the Crete Senesi countryside, just south of Siena. Dating back to 867 AD, the estate has evolved from a medieval defensive outpost into an elegant country residence, today offered as an exclusive events venue and Residenza d’Epoca B&B.
The setting feels calm and self-contained, with one hectare of English-style gardens wrapped around the property. At its heart stands a 13th-century tower, covered in Virginia creeper that shifts from green in summer to deep red in autumn. Surrounding it are the former stables, farm buildings and a small chapel, creating a layout that naturally suits multi-part wedding days across different spaces.
Castello di San Fabiano can hold weddings of up to 300 guests. On-site accommodation can sleep 22 guests, allowing close family and friends to stay together, with additional accommodation available nearby. The venue is approximately 1 hour 30 from Florence Airport and 2 hours from Bologna Airport.
