It’s fair to say that 2021 was another rollercoaster year on the corona-coaster. That being said, from June onwards (when weddings were once again allowed to take place in Italy) we saw some incredible celebrations full of heart and authenticity.

We wanted to take a moment as the year comes to an end to celebrate some of those amazing weddings and the incredible venues and suppliers that made them happen, with a rundown of some of the standout moments.

Jon + Mckaye in Chianti

La Lista member Colin Ross captured some beautiful images from Jon + Mckaye’s wedding at Dievole Winery in the Chianti region. Look at that Tuscan light!

Matt + Justine at Villa il Pozzo

A dream-team of La Lista members created some Tuscan magic for Matt + Justine at Villa il Pozzo.

Authentic Italian style

We love this luxurious Renaissance-style table created by La Lista members Parade Wedding. Those glorious chandeliers and muted pastel tones are really something special.

Olivia + Andy at La Pescaia

All captured to absolute perfection by La Lista member Harry Michael, this wedding weekend was super stylish, full-of-fun and just what Tuscan dreams are made of.

We’re particularly obsessed with the amazing warm and sun-blushed florals by Flower’s Living and the magical string lights over the wedding table. Magical!

Tallulah + Richard in Sicily

Their three-day Sicilian celebration was colourful, full-of-fun and personality and a perfect slice of la dolce vita. Kicking off with a welcome aperitivo with Tallulah in a show-stopping Dolce & Gabbana dress, to the main event hosted at the gorgeously authentic Tonnara di Scopello, followed by a day beach-side brunching - the whole weekend is super-stylish and brimming full of memories to last a lifetime.

Tamsin + Craig at Villa di Ulignano

A truly stylish and spectacular three-day affair at the beautiful Villa di Ulignano in Tuscany. The whole weekend was a total vibe but highlights include the tenor singing during the wedding dinner, fireworks at cake-cutting and incredible music by Omero & Friends.

Sammie + Phil at Villa Lena

Perfectly captured by La Lista member Sam Docker, the sun-drenched Villa Lena always provides the most dreamy backdrop. Hidden in the Tuscan countryside,
with chic interiors and cypress views this venue is style goals. What a beautiful day!

Maria + Angelo’s vineyard wedding in Puglia

Like the rows of the surrounding vineyards, an expanse of fairy lights really brought the magic for Maria and Angelo’s Puglia wedding (112 meters of fairy lights to be exact!)

Maria + Angelo celebrated with 350 of their friends and family at Masseria Sàmia, the vineyard and farm where they live and work. They wanted a timeless and truly Italian celebration that showed off their love for their motherland, beautiful Puglia.
