We love a modern-day romance, and Anna + Dan’s is one for the books. What started with a swipe in 2021 led to a Lake Como wedding at La Lista–vetted venue, Relais Villa Vittoria. Intimate, stylish, and full of feeling, their celebration proved that the best weddings aren’t always just about the aesthetics (although theirs definitely hit the mark)—it’s the joy, the connection, and the little moments that make them unforgettable.

Love Story

“We met in 2021 after matching on a dating app. Dan proposed by convincing me we were going to a fancy dinner event with the help of my best friend. Last minute we took a detour up a mountain and I was completely surprised when he ended up proposing to me there. It was so romantic.”

Why Italy?

“We have always loved travelling to Italy. We decided we wanted a smaller guest list, and once that was settled, we thought: ‘Why not go somewhere magical with our closest family and friends?’ Italy was an easy choice.”

“Villa Vittoria is stunning, and it housed most of our guests onsite. When planning an international wedding, the easier the better—and after speaking with the staff at the villa, it was clear they had everything organised to make it happen without much fuss.”
