A magical Sicilian venue where the sea meets history

In partnership with Torre di Scopello

There’s a corner of Sicily where everything just feels right, the sea, the stone, the kind of sunsets that make you stop mid-sentence. That’s Torre di Scopello (also known as Torre Doria), one of those iconic places couples dream about for a timeless Italian wedding.

You’ll find it above the Gulf of Castellammare and wrapped in Mediterranean greenery, the Tower looks out over the Faraglioni like it’s been doing this forever, because it has. Standing strong since the 16th century, now the ultimate backdrop for couples who want history, beauty and a little bit of drama all in one place.

La Torre

Once a 16th-century lookout for pirates, Torre di Scopello was part of Sicily’s coastal watchtower network, keeping an eye out for invaders. Over the centuries it’s seen everything, battles, shipwrecks, the quiet rhythm of fishing life and today it’s perfectly preserved, its rugged stone walls and epic views making it a timeless backdrop where history and romance collide.

“At the foot of the Tower, the spaces open toward the sea, between rock and endless horizons. Here, every detail becomes poetry: the sunset light brushing the stone, the breeze accompanying the toasts, the sound of the waves marking the most emotional moments.” ~ Genziana, Venue Manager

The Wedding Day

Morning: Guests start slow with breakfast on the estate and a stroll down to the lookout points — coffee, sea breeze, and those Faraglioni views easing everyone into the day.

Ceremony & Aperitivo: Vows take place on the cliffside terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. After the ceremony, guests move to the lower terraces for aperitivo — Sicilian bites, cold spritzes, and golden-hour light bouncing off La Torre.

Dinner: A long, candlelit dinner unfolds on the panoramic terrace, with seasonal Sicilian dishes and a warm, unhurried atmosphere as the sun melts into the sea.

Evening Celebrations: Cake cutting, dancing, and cocktails under the stars, with the sound of the waves setting the mood. From slow morning moments to late-night dancing, the day flows naturally — effortless, atmospheric and unmistakably Scopello.

“Torre di Scopello is more than just a venue — it’s an experience. Each event is carefully overseen by an expert team who guide couples step by step, making every wedding truly unique.

Its location, just a short walk from the Zingaro Nature Reserve, offers glimpses of authentic Mediterranean beauty. Here, the ancient and the modern come together, and the sound of the sea becomes the perfect soundtrack for love."
